Effective Date: 10/3/2024
At Hyper Local Harvest Hub (HLHH), we are committed to fostering a supportive, respectful, and collaborative community. Whether you are a producer, consumer, or both, we ask all members to abide by the following principles to create a positive environment for everyone involved.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Treat all members with kindness, respect, and dignity. This applies to online interactions, in-person conversations, and formal agreements.
Discriminatory, harassing, or offensive language or behavior will not be tolerated.
Encourage open, honest, and constructive dialogue, even in disagreements.
Be honest and transparent in all interactions, especially when making agreements. Whether you're producing or consuming, clarity is key to building trust.
Producers must accurately represent their products, including quality, quantity, and availability.
Consumers are expected to communicate their needs and expectations clearly and to honor agreed-upon commitments.
Engage in fair trade practices that respect the value of both products and labor.
Follow through on your commitments, whether producing goods or sourcing them from others.
Work collaboratively with other hub members, offering help and sharing knowledge whenever possible.
Producers are encouraged to cultivate their products with care, love, and dedication, ensuring they meet the standards agreed upon with their consumers.
Consumers are asked to respect the time, effort, and resources that go into hyper-local production.
Prioritize sustainable practices where possible, minimizing waste and maximizing the efficient use of resources.
Be mindful of environmental, social, and economic impacts, and strive to create resilient, long-term systems that benefit both individuals and the community.
Users are encouraged to use formal written agreements for all exchanges of goods or services through the Service. These agreements help protect both producers and consumers by clearly outlining expectations, quantities, pricing, and timelines.
Sample Agreements: We provide templates for food trade agreements to help facilitate clear and fair transactions. However, users are responsible for the specifics of any agreements they enter into.
Dispute Resolution: HyperLocalHarvestHub.com is not responsible for resolving disputes between users. We recommend that users resolve any conflicts directly and amicably.
Should disagreements arise, address them respectfully and privately with the involved party before seeking broader community intervention.
All disputes should be handled professionally, with a focus on finding fair, collaborative solutions that maintain the integrity of the hub.
Formal agreements between producers and consumers should be honored to ensure clarity and trust. Ensure that all terms—such as product quantity, quality, and delivery timelines—are met as outlined in the agreement.
Regular updates and clear communication throughout the agreement term are encouraged to avoid misunderstandings.
Help others by sharing knowledge, resources, and experience within the hub. Mentoring new members, participating in community activities, and supporting local growth is encouraged.
Celebrate successes together, and help strengthen the local food network by actively participating in discussions and initiatives.
Any fraudulent activity or misrepresentation of goods, services, or intentions will result in immediate removal from the hub and potential legal consequences.
We believe in continual growth and learning. All members are encouraged to provide feedback, share ideas, and help each other improve their systems and practices for the benefit of the entire community.
Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, suspension, or removal from Hyper Local Harvest Hub, depending on the severity of the violation. Our goal is to maintain a healthy, supportive community that values cooperation, respect, and sustainability.
Let’s work together to build a thriving hyper-local food network that benefits everyone!
